French Doors to Flavor Town
My kitchen counter used to be a crowded appliance graveyard. A bulky air fryer here, a tired old toaster oven there, and various other gadgets vying for space. Cooking anything that required more than one function felt like a juggling act, and the results were often… inconsistent. I dreamed of a world where one machine could do it all, and do it well. I was intrigued when I saw this Emeril Lagasse Extra Large French Door Air Fryer Toaster Oven Combo. Could it live up to the hype and declutter my life? Short answer: Yes. A resounding, crispy, perfectly-cooked YES.

This appliance is a powerhouse disguised as a sleek kitchen upgrade. The French doors make it feel instantly more premium and are surprisingly convenient for loading and unloading food. But the real magic is in its versatility. It’s not just an air fryer or a toaster oven; it’s a multi-cooker that has genuinely changed how I prepare meals.

The air frying function is incredible. Chicken wings come out ridiculously crispy without being dry, roasted vegetables get that perfect caramelized edge, and even frozen foods are transformed into golden, crunchy goodness in minutes. Thanks to that dual-speed fan, it preheats fast and cooks evenly. I’ve retired my old standalone air fryer.

It’s equally impressive as a toaster oven. Toast is consistently golden brown, baking small batches of cookies or roasting a few chicken breasts is a breeze, and reheating leftovers gives them a new lease on life instead of turning them into a rubbery disappointment. The fact that the oven automatically shuts off when the toast timer is done is a small but brilliant detail.

The “Extra Large” capacity is no joke. I’ve comfortably air-fried enough chicken for my family and baked a full-size 12-inch pizza that came out with a perfectly crisp crust. I’m seriously looking forward to trying the rotisserie function for a whole chicken soon. The 25 cooking presets cover almost everything you could think of, taking the guesswork out of cooking times and temperatures.

This machine has streamlined my cooking process, saved valuable counter space, and consistently delivered delicious results. It feels robust and well-made, a true investment in my kitchen. It’s more than just an appliance; it’s become the heart of my cooking routine, opening French doors to a new level of flavor and convenience.

If you’re tired of kitchen clutter and want a single, powerful machine that can air fry, toast, bake, and more, this Emeril Lagasse combo is an absolute winner. It’s a game-changer that makes cooking easier, faster, and fun.

I’m loving this air fryer! I searched and searched to find exactly what I “needed”. I searched so much for so long that I closed my eyes and shut my brain down. LOL
I HAD to buy the one that met my needs, because I wasn’t returning one after another until I found the right one. So, I weighed out my options…I wanted one that could cook more than one item at a time. I wanted one that would fit in my space, because I wouldn’t put it in a closet and only pull it out when I needed to use it. Because we all know how that works…it never comes out of the closet. I wanted one with a basket, a shelf, a “hot plate/skillet,” and a rotisserie. Y, baby!!! I wanted every function available to man/woman. Not to mention, I wanted to open the doors so I could see what was happening inside without pulling the basket out all the time.
This one met EVERY one of my needs.
It takes some getting used to, because I’ve never had an Air Fryer before. You can use a preset button or adjust your own time and temperature. I love that I can cook a small pizza without heating up my large oven! And the convenience of using this AF vs preheating my big oven, waiting for it to take 16 minutes to cook my small pizza, and heating my whole kitchen while it’s cooling down. Ugh! I turn the AF on, and it takes a few minutes to heat up. My small pizza is done in half the time, and it takes 1 minute to cool down and doesn’t heat my entire kitchen. It’s GREAT!!! I LOVE the convenience of cooking multiple items simultaneously (for 2 people) in a fraction of the time as a conventional oven. It sits on my countertop, so I’m using it all the time now.
I never cook burgers in a skillet; don’t like the taste of it. I always gook my burgers on the grill, even during the winter. Wellllll, this winter was extra cold for a more extended period with a lot of snow, so I didn’t go outside to do much of anything, especially cook 🙁 So I tried the “skillet/grill” thingamajig and cooked my burgers. WOW, they came out almost as good as if I had cooked them on the grill outside. Yay. Next, I’ll try a steak on that same surface.
I’m glad I spent the extra money on this AF, it was well worth it. After all, it’s an appliance that will get used a lot, so why not spend a couple more bucks to get the best?! I don’t like wasting money and time on products that I’m not impressed with. It’s either all the way, or nothing at all.
Get yourself one, you’ll be happy you did.

I first saw this oven at a local store and thought it would be the perfect addition for our travel trailer. We go camping multiple times yearly, and our RV does not have an oven. I bought it, and it is in my home kitchen. I LOVE this oven; I use it nearly every day. It is versatile, easy to clean, heats up fast, and uses less electricity than our large wall oven. I even purchased this pan – https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00Y41OIG8?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_1&th=1. It fits into this oven lengthwise and can hold enough lasagna, BBQ chicken, cake, roasts, and more for 4 people. This oven has a shallow tray and a non-stick surface broiling tray, so the deeper pan is a great addition.
I never expected to be using this oven as much as I do. I will probably need to purchase another one for the travel trailer! It heats up so quickly, it has so many functions that I have not even had time to use all of them. It also comes with an air fryer tray. It comes with a rotisserie rod, but I am not sure if I would ever use that function. I have made pizza here, have proofed bread dough and air-fried food, toasted bagels, reheated leftovers, baked pies, and made burgers and corn dogs. If you purchase the deeper pan, you can make many different foods. I find the controls easy to use, you can adjust the time and temperature simply by turning one of the knobs. It signals when the time is up. Using the pans provided, you can fit 2 in at a time. I have even made cookies in this oven. It fits on my counter and clears the upper cupboards. As I said, when I originally purchased it, I had planned on putting it in our RV, but now I am planning on buying a second one for the RV! We are going to put it on our back deck for the summer. I purchased the cover for it here on Amazon. Cooking outside will keep our kitchen much cooler, and since this plugs into a regular receptacle, it can be transported easily to use on our covered deck. As a bonus, we will save on air conditioning costs all summer and still enjoy our home-cooked meals.

Update: I’ve used this oven for a few months for roasting, baking, broiling, air frying, and reheating. It is an outstanding oven that performs flawlessly every time. The oven heats evenly, so baked goods cook uniformly. Over the holidays, I baked cookies, and since then, enchiladas, cornbread, casseroles, sheet pan meals, hot wings, salmon, quesadillas, broiled sandwiches, etc. I love the cooking space available; it doesn’t take up too much counter space. This is the best toaster oven I’ve owned. Love it!

We purchased this oven to replace our Ninja Foodie flip-up air fryer/toaster oven, which we’ve had for just over a year. We are full-time RVers and seldom bother to light and use the gas oven in our RV, so I must have a good countertop oven. With limited space, I love that it also doubles as an air fryer. We have a separate toaster because I’ve never been satisfied with how a toaster oven toasts (sounds silly, but give me a pop-up toaster any day).

I never liked our old oven because it was not tall enough inside to cook in anything but a tray. It was also not heating properly, and I was very disappointed with the results. It was too small to bake a cake or roast a whole chicken.

I spent a lot of time researching other combination air fryer/ovens until I came upon this oven. I will update later, but I was very impressed with the cooking performance of my first meal – a sheet pan meal with Parmesan-crusted chicken breasts and broccoli. I baked it for 14 minutes at 425°, turning the broccoli halfway through. The chicken was perfectly cooked – juicy inside with a golden brown, crusty topping. The broccoli had the right amount of char without being over- or undercooked. I was amazed at how much better it roasted than the old oven, and I liked how the baking tray slipped into the slots on the side. This meal wasn’t very messy, so there wasn’t much splatter, and no drips to clean.

Today, I’m baking cookies, and tomorrow, I’m air-frying wings, so I will update after I’ve used it a few more times. We buy meal kits from Green Chef, and many recipes require baking. Since there are just two of us, this will do the trick.

This is a very preliminary review, but the positives include: roomy interior cooking space, easy to bake with a 9″ square pan, pie pan, or 12″ cookie sheet. The temperature was even and consistent with a thermometer. It didn’t overheat the room, and we kept a 4-6″ space from the walls. The interior light is bright. I like the double doors, but be sure there is enough space to fully open them so they don’t close on your hand, especially if it’s hot! There are many simple settings, and adjusting the temperature and time is easy. I’m looking forward to experimenting more! The only negative so far is that it can’t accommodate the 12 pizza pans that worked with the old oven. This isn’t a problem because frozen pizza is best cooked on the wire rack instead of in a pan. We use our outdoor pizza oven for homemade pizza anyway.

We will definitely keep it clean after each use, wiping off splatters and drips that can smoke up the kitchen. We will not likely use the rotisserie because I’m sure it would be very messy, but it will be great for baking, roasting, and air frying.

More later after I’ve used this for a few months, but if you’ve been considering getting this while it’s on sale, go for it!

I’ve had time to use our new air fryer and learn more about it as a first-time user. It was a learning process in the beginning.

That being said, it was easy to use. I didn’t find the instructions to be complete. I never saw how to preheat. I found that info through other methods. Hopefully I’m doing it correctly, but either way, it works.

If you want to preheat something, you must put it on the grill, roast, bake, or something that gives you the “PH” symbol in the digital read-out area that displays the temperature and time. Run it for a few minutes, then switch it to the desired preset selection, such as “Air fry.”

The video showing smoke seeping from the top outer corners of the doors is absolutely correct. I don’t see anything wrong with it, so far, so good.

Once you start cooking, it will alarm halfway through the desired set time. This is to alert you in the event you wish to flip what you’re cooking.

It will alarm again with several beeps at the end of the desired cook time. You should wait until it displays “Off” in the digital area, where you find the time and temperature to cook.

This is because it vents all of the hot air out of the oven. That takes approximately 1 or 2 minutes. Once it displays “Off” you can open the doors and you’ll notice you aren’t filling your kitchen with undesired heat. Then you can remove your freshly cooked meal.

I found it easy to clean however I will say cleaning the heating elements is not desirable to me. Please read the cleaning instructions fully before doing so; they are delicate. Don’t use anything overly abrasive on them; only use soap and water. There is nothing potentially flammable, and it is never hot.

The rest of the oven is easy to clean, so just be careful. It comes with everything shown, so you have all you need for cooking. Those are easy to clean as well. I cooked a couple of times before cleaning the drip pan, and it was a bit harder to clean due to cooked-on grease that was expelled from the cooked items. Now I clean the drip pan every time.

I give this five stars, it hits all the marks for me.

It’s easy to use, clean, and fits perfectly anywhere I want to place it on my counter. It’s small but mighty! You can cook a lot and do a couple of things simultaneously. The doors are nice; youyou open one, and the other opens atsimultaneously
I hardly ever use my oven anymore because I really do like how it cooks my meals, from Steak to meatloaf, hamburgers, veggies, and potatoes. I like not having to use cooking oil or grease in it. For some things, I use the oil only for basic prep. Before then, it’s strained, seasoned, or breaded and put in the basket to cook.

If you purchase this, I hope you enjoy it as much as I do and recommend it!
